“I received the emergency assistance during a difficult time for my family. I am raising two young children while attending school. At the time I was overwhelmed with the rising cost of food and basic needs. I accessed the fund to help with purchasing propane. This assistance helped to ensure my children were warm and could eat home-cooked meals. The other aspect was it helped to bridge me to a long-term solution. The turnaround time to get funding was quick. I will always be grateful for the assistance for my family. Thank you.”—anonymous recipient, February 2023
“My mom is a single parent and has always supported me in all my interests and endeavors and has sacrificed so that I could have all the opportunities I have. CMU is a private College and very expensive, and I am truly grateful for your generous support towards my education to allow me to continue my journey to achieve my dream career.” —anonymous recipient, February 2023
